ANZAC Day is a chance to pay tribute to those who have served and to thank those who continue to serve today. This year, the Miranda RSL Sub-Branch is once again hosting an ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Miranda War Memorial. Youth Club members are strongly encouraged to attend.
Youth Club members are to meet at the front door of Miranda RSL Youth Club at 5:30am to march at 5:45am. Breakfast will be provided after the service. Please wear Club uniform.
Volunteers are needed to help with the Community BBQ breakfast. Please see Robert Bull at the Youth Club or ring 9522 0484 or 0427 944 379 if you can assist.
This year, we were unable to hold our annual Display Day event due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, we held a Showcase Week and invited family and friends to sit in for a class to give our athletes the chance show off their routines and all the new skills they have learnt this year. During this week, we also presented our Perpetual Trophies for 2020.

Next Saturday is ANZAC Day. While we won’t be gathering for our traditional Dawn Service, there are still ways that you can commemorate the occasion at home.
At 6am on ANZAC Day, we ask you to stand in your driveway, on your balcony or in your living room to remember all those who have served and sacrificed. You can tune in to the Australian War Memorial commemorative service from 5:30am on the ABC.
