This year, we were unable to hold our annual Display Day event due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, we held a Showcase Week and invited family and friends to sit in for a class to give our athletes the chance show off their routines and all the new skills they have learnt this year. During this week, we also presented our Perpetual Trophies for 2020.
Congratulations to our award recipients;
Rita Emily Coulton Award – Miranda RSL Youth of the Year Kristen Chirgwin
Ritchie Gillies Award – Karate Most Improved Nathan Donaldson
Kara Miller Award – Trampoline Encouragement Award Lucas Samuel
Joan McMaster Achievement Award – Female Trampolinist of the Year Isabella Richardson
Alec Dengate Achievement Award – Male Trampolinist of the Year Deklyn Gardner
*Please note that the Bert Walker Award – Karate Athlete of the Year was not awarded due to disruptions caused by COVID-19.
If you would like access to the photos from Showcase Week 2020, please send us a message and we will provide you with the link as soon as possible.

Next week is Showcase Week for our Trampoline and Tumbling athletes! Our athletes will be performing their routines for the class and showing off all the new skills they have learnt throughout the year. Parents are welcome to stay and watch their child’s class provided they adhere to our COVID safety measures. We hope to see you there!
Term 4 is here and we can’t wait to finish off this year with a bang! Please be aware that our COVID Safe practices as listed in our Return to Training Plan are still in effect. Remember to bring a pair of clean socks and a pre-filled drink bottle with you to training and if you are unwell, stay at home!
Before attending the Youth Club, we also ask that you check the following list of locations from the NSW Government. If you or an immediate family member have been to any of the locations during the listed times, please do not come to training.
In Term 4 2020, we will be adding a dedicated Tumbling Class to our timetable. This one hour class will run on Thursday nights from 6pm and is suitable for athletes working at Level 2 and above (Proficient in Handstands, Cartwheels and Round Offs).
This class is perfect for anyone wishing to take their tumbling to the next level including gymnasts, dancers and cheerleaders. Athletes in this class will follow a specialised strength and conditioning program designed to prepare them for learning and performing advanced skills.
If you are interested in attending this class, please get in touch so we can secure your spot.
