Classes
Tumbling is a discipline of Trampoline Gymnastics that involves a series of skills such as round offs, back handsprings, whips and somersaults, performed in a single continuous row along a sprung floor. This type of tumbling is focused on speed and power so proper technique and good preparation are vital.
At Miranda RSL Youth Club, we have a 20 metre Air Floor tumble track for the purpose of power tumbling training. The surface is safer and more forgiving than regular tumbling floors and allows our athletes to train more advanced skills with a reduced risk of strain or injury.
At Miranda RSL Youth Club, basic tumbling is integrated into all of our classes. Advanced tumbling is taught in our Advanced Classes and in our dedicated Tumbling Class. Our Tumbling Class provides athletes with a higher level of instruction than they would receive in a General Ability Class and is perfect for athletes also participate in dancing, acrobatics or cheer who are looking to develop their tumbling further. Athletes who attend this class follow a specialised strength and conditioning program designed to prepare them for learning and performing advanced skills.
